Despite their name, cream ales generally do not contain any dairy products (although if you are dairy-sensitive, you should always ask anyway!). Cream ale is a pre-prohibition American beer style with roots in traditional German brewing. They feature a clean, refreshing taste reminiscent of pale European lagers. We added a whole bunch of real raspberry purée to a solid cream ale base to create the ultimate refresher: a bright, slightly tangy raspberry delight!
