Darth Saison was born in Ryan’s homebrewing days from a rather fortunate accident. Rather than adding a few ounces of dark, roasted grains to a saison recipe, several pounds were added instead! The result is an exceptionally dark farmhouse-style ale with a unique flavor profile including notes of dark fruits and caramel combined with a classic Belgian yeast character.
